Farm raised emerald tree boas?

I know of all the challenges with ETBs and I know farm raised animals have a greater chance of having parasites.

I'm curious to hear personal stories of your success (or lack thereof) after purchasing a farm bred ETB

Just like most Wc or farm bred animals, there is gonna be some bumps in the road. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and just find a breeder and get a cb animal. Less hassle and you don't have to worry about finding a "perfectly healthy" animal dead one morning. Less vet bills and it's less stressful on the animal. I don't completely disagree with getting wc or farm bred but if you can get cb, that is always the best option.

I haven't been able to find any available animals captive bred online. Does anyone know of any breeders that specialize in ETBs?

That's maybe be a stupid question but what's the difference between farm bred and captive bred?

I actually miswrote that. The animal I was speaking of is actually farm hatched.

But to answer your question Captive bred is bred and hatched in the US.
Farm bred would be an animal bred on a "farm". They hold and hatch out large amounts of animals and are often from farms in Indonesia.
Captive hatched would be an animal that was hatched in captivity, but from eggs taken from the wild or a gravid female taken from the wild.
