Ant Farms?

I have always wanted an ant farm but I dont have a clue as to where to get one. Anyone know of a website or store/shop that sells them? Also any pics and care imformation would be great.

Thanks Jeff

Hey guys. You can get the normal original ant farm at your local Toys R Us.

They have that, AND they have the new styled add-on's and stuff. I liked the original but wait until you check out the "globe" shaped one!!!
I found a couple pics on the internet.

I believe the link is http://www.farmgoodsforkids.com but like I said everything about Ant Farms available at this website was a the Newmarket, ON Toy's R Us last time I was there.

How do you feed them and all that? Do you have to clean the cage?

I have the setup with the big dome and 2 smaller pieces to connect. I never used it cause the ans were dead when I got them in the mail. I was so disappointed. I could use native ants, but those looked so cool!

Ant farms are cool period! at least to me...
you feed them with sugar water or rough grains of it...i also sometimes use biscuit crumbs and small bits of my food...basically just pop them in or use a dropper for the liqiud form. i used to have 2 established colonies in abt. 4 sections each...but my little brother decided to connect the tubes between them one day and...well...lets just say there was dispute...a real big one on ant scale...one colony just plain died the other one got a lot of food for months!!! i'm in the process of building my own antfarm with acrylics now... probably a rather large one so that friends can see them when they come into my room...they are great to watch!
