I had to hold Blaze!
As the title suggests I had to hold Blaze today. My husband was holding Blaze when he had a buisness call he had to take and instead of putting Blaze in the enclosure my husband unceremoniously dumped Blaze in my hands! I didn't pass out or vomit, & Blaze didn't seem to mind either! [IMG] [/IMG]
Ignore the horrible hair if its visible and sorry for the clevage, I was in my jammies. I thought some of you might like to know about my hold him! I did put him in his home though. Lol

Re: I had to hold Blaze!
Yes! I have had a fear for years. We got Blaze for my girls, I swore I would never touch the thing even though I thought it was beautiful. I couldn't even go down that isle at the pet store at one point.

Re: I had to hold Blaze!
I allowed time for a photo then put him up and then said quite a few curse words! I knew not to panic while holding Blaze so I didn't but once he was safe inside his enclosure I was not a happy camper! Although it wasn't that bad, next time I will decide when I want to hold blaze! Lmao! It doesn't help that when mealtime comes I'm the one he seems to hunt, so my husband said "go to your cheeseburger" then gave him to me and walked away! My oldest took the photo! I was going to have proof this time, my best friend called me a liar last time!

Or a female who loves cleavage! (:
Sometimes the best way to work on a fear is by surprise! I know I've needed a push to do something I was hesitant about. Now that you know you won't die by holding him, you can prepare yourself and choose when your next encounter is (:

That is true, my husband said he wouldn't have done if he knew I wouldn't react exactly as I did. He did say me holding him long enough for a picture was a surprise though lol. He knows me better than I know myself so he knew I could handle it. I never trust myself enough until its shoved in my face! My only weakness.
And I can't believe I forgot about those clevage loving woman shame on me my mothers would smack for making such horrible assumptions!

Re: I had to hold Blaze!
I was the one who got Blaze out for feeding time, which for my husband is a 10 min process of chasing Blase through the terrarium and ending with my husband getting pooped on. For me it was a 30 second process of picking up and moving the half long hide and then picking up Blaze, no running or pooping. I have a weird feeling the snake likes me more, don't tell my husband!
