My lizard in my pic is a crested gecko (not mine, mine's cuter!) I haven't had much experience with golden geckos, but they seem to have the same diet as cresteds.
At least he's eating baby food, and if that's all you might want to supply it with calcium....mine doesn't eat any baby food that I put in it's tank but it will lick it from my fingers (I USED to have to dab it on his nose so he'd lick it off......but I switched flavours and he loves banana...maybe that's all you need!)
Are the crickets too big? That could be a problem, and if there's too many in the tank/enclosure it bugs(haha a pun
) them. Mine won't eat meal worms unless one is put in front of him and he's in a hunting mood....
I don't know if golden geckos are nocturnal, but he could be hunting at night....when you're asleep and not watching.
and last, he could be trying to shed....if it's like a crested gecko, sometimes it's hard to tell if they're shedding and they won't move or eat.
