I have not seen one of these!
I have not seen an Axanthic brooks....
I've only seen hypo and normal brooks at Bill and Kathy's place.......but that Axanthic is like the first.......

Simon, this is only a het for axanthic. The axanthics can be almost blue and black. some are very blue in fact. The New England strain I believe to be the one with more of the blue/purple than the others. This is a baby from het x axanthic breeding I think. Pretty "normal" for a Brook's. As in most ,the red fades out as it matures.

The normal brooks that I have seen are not nearly as good looking as yours......

You know, seeing that last shot makes me think I will be keeping all of my brooksi hatchlings instead of selling them!
