Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix (southern copperhead)
Just picked up my first official Hot. I had a chance to work with these guys a few years back from a good friend and my mentors collection. Now that I have locking Enclosures, can't wait to build up my new collection.
Anyways, I'll post pictures tomorrow. Not sure of sex, and I don't have a tube set, so I'm not even going to attempt to sex it.

Re: Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix (southern copperhead)
Oh, careful I am. Thanks for the compliments. Most of the copperheads I see around my are look to be an intergrade, where as this is the most pure southern I've seen in awhile. Had to grab it!

Re: Agkistrodon contortrix contortrix (southern copperhead)
So far not too bad. Pretty docile. Likes to flee, and no strikes. Which is great, because he will be used in my educational shows as one of the 4 local native hots you would most likely see in my area.
