First feeding

Mr. Porkchop had his first meal in my care today...and boy was he ever ready! hehe. He was cruising around his tank all day expectantly.

And he made extremely short work of his mouse, when he finally got it. I'm used to constrictors that take forever to get their food down...not this guy! Tail first, whatever. It's all good, apparently.

Re: First feeding

A hoggie might have to be the next snake I get. I'm really torn between brooks king, mexican black king, hoggie and hypo everglades rat snake.

Hognose snakes are just so ridiculously cute, though.

I think hognoses definitely beat out all other species when it comes to the cuteness factor...I realize it's not what everyone is looking for in a snake but I find it quite charming.

Tough decision indeed, though...Mexican black kings are stunning!
