Need help with identifying a Lizard

Hello from Sweden!

I would need some help to identify a snake that we found in a box after cleaning up an apartment after a deceased person... it would also be helpful to know how it needs to be kept and if it's poisonous etc.

thanks in advance!

Re: Need help with identifying a Lizard

It's a Gila Monster. A mildly venomous lizard native to my part of the world, Texas. Find someone local who knows how to safely handle and care for it ASAP. I'd look into the legality of the animal in your part of the world ASAP as well. That said it is a beautiful and unique critter. Interesting find.
