Android based App

So, my collection is starting to grow, and I was wondering if anyone has used Reptile Scan, and if so, is it worth it? Are there any other similar apps out there?

Re: Android based App

Sadly, it's only for Apple. I may find a cheap Itouch and get it. I've read fantastic reviews of it.

Re: Android based App

I use programs provided Google drive. I like my records to be very detailed with weights, feedings, sheds, DOB, parents, and grandparents so it is not as portable though.

Re: Android based App

Currently I am using a gold old fashioned pen and paper, but I want something I can access pretty much 24/7. I'm thinking about a Google doc with a spreadsheet, but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Re: Android based App

Actually, found the apk file, and it works for me. Can't update it, but I'm just using it to manage my collection, and to set up bins and cages for my rescue program.

Re: Android based App

Yeah, it's funny that you say that, because the apk file just glitched out real bad. Sucked it up and paid the money for it.

Re: Android based App

I tried that reptile scan earlier and unless you have bar codes and stuff on your animals is almost useless, I didn't like it that much, not worth the money

Re: Android based App

Yeah, I didn't like it, until I printed out the bar code. I have 7 snakes I keep, and at any given time 30+ that go in and out of my house. Definitely useful for larger numbers.

Re: Android based App

You have to go to the site. I can't exactly remember the process, UT if you look at the FAQ, it shows how to do it.
