My pure Jampeas
Decided its time I stop procrastinating and make a thread for my retics.
As a lot of you know I just got my male jamp, and that he came to me with a large burn on his stomach. Well, his treatments are done and his burns are now just little scabs, another couple sheds and he's good as new. I haven't had a chance to measure him but he's got to be 9-10 feet and 17.5lbs now, and going on 5 years old now. Im told he was produced by Travis Kubes and is possible het anery(wait for it). Hes been really good for me throughout his treatments and is now being left completely alone for a month or so to get the settle in period he was denied. He's going to be, and has been, an absolute pleasure to work with; I'm so glad he made his way to me.

Re: My pure Jampeas
For those of you that have noticed the patchy shed, his humidity is fine. It's from the burn.

Re: My pure Jampeas
My female jamp was my first retic. I got her about a year and a half ago from Bob Clark(she was the last female he had). She's a 2011, and at the time I got her she was about 4 feet long and tiny(I've got to get some old pics up for an example of their growth rate). She's now probably a little longer then 10 feet(its hard to tell, you retic owners know what I mean), and around 12lbs(got a lot of girth to gain). She's 100% true to all of the Jamp stereotypes: always ready to eat, crazy monster feed response, always on the move, wants to climb everything, ect... After you break her feed response she's a joy to work with, but nowhere near as laid back as my male. Shes become my favorite animal that i ever worked with. She sparked my love of pure locale retics and retics in general. During my lengthy search for a male for her I ended up talking with Jason Gaspar(the guy that had the moster 17 foot jamp)and found out that Bob had bought the clutch she came from off him. Sooo... She's also a possible het anery. She might be ready to breed next season, can't wait for this project.
As I've been typing this thread my female has started to shed. So instead of just posting an "in shed" pic you'll get both in a little bit.

Thanks Steve, JP, and Markus. I consider myself very lucky to have a pair of these beautiful animals in my life. I really can't wait for some eggs, I might not even sell the babies.lol.
