Anyone here with Dwarf Geckos?

Hello all! I am in the process of setting up a 55 gall viv for a pair of Lygodactylus Williamsi. Dont worry, I am not buying WC specimens. The female will becoming from Leann at Daygecko.com. I have yet to find a male but I am not in any rush. All my plants are already in the mail from Black Jungle Terrarium supply. Got a 5 pack of bromeliads, and several other short growing wide leave plants. Oh and there will be plenty of bamboo.

So far the tank has a 1 1/2" drainage layer of hydroton. Some landscape fabric to keep the moss out of the hydroton. A 2" layer of sphagnum moss and will be followed with about a 1/2" of coco coir. Both the moss and coco are OMRI listed. Lighting will include a 48" 2 bulb strip light. One bulb a reptisun 5.0 the other a generic full spectrum plant light. I will probably throw in a couple of clamp lights for basking at opposite ends of the set up for basking.

Anyone else work with dwarf geckos or phelsuma? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

55 Gallons for 2 williamsi is HUGE. Sounds like you've got everything covered honestly. Just be careful with your doors that you dont' squish them/crush eggs/have escapees. If I were you and I was going to setup a 55 gallon, I'd buy a few more or some amphibs as well maybe. Look forward to seeing it when its done, nothing competes with a good planted vivarium IMO.

As said, it looks like you've got it covered but be careful or you'll have some escaped or injured geckos. I do have one thing to add though, which is that for a species like williamsi that needs high humidity, I hope you don't plan on using a screen top. Especially with such a large area open on top, you will be losing every bit of humidity you've got in that cage.
