Re: Stunner

Wow, I did think he was a platty tiger. He's a keeper. Do you know what the pairing was(other then albino x tiger)? I'm wondering if he's got locale blood that cleaned him up so good.

Re: Stunner

Still waiting on a reply from the breeder. I myself have been wondering what makes him so bright.

Re: Stunner

I don't know, I have my doubts that's just a tiger. It looks exactly like a platty tiger in the second set of pics. Theres sooo much yellow. You might have gotten a great mislabeled deal.

Hopefully someone more familiar with the extreme ends(if its only the tiger mutation it's an incredible example) of retic mutations can chime in. I'm more of a locale guy then a morph guy.

Re: Stunner

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Stunner

In the second set of pics you can really see the colors. I personally believe he's a platinum tiger. If you don't mind me asking what did you pay for him? Any plans for breeding him?

I wish millertime89 would comment.

Re: Stunner

Oh he's going to be beautiful. The platinum gene is a cool mutation in the retic world there are 3 different supers, like there are 3 albinos: ivory, ultra ivory, and black eyed lucys.

I don't know about around you, but here $450 is a reasonable asking price for a mainland platty tiger het albino.

Re: Stunner

Mother was an 18' platinum tiger and father was a 9' albino goldenchild.

Wow, I've seen tigers for $125 around me, and 75% SD tigers for $500.
