Opinions on my reptile site so far...

I've been writing up this website for some time now, I've been mainly doing it for fun but also as a guide to new or prospective reptile owners. it's still not 100% complete, a few sections need tweaking here and there but would like some feedback on it if anyones willing to give any... Reptiles as Pets - Home

Thanks.

Site is looking real good. Is that leopard gecko picture yours? That's an awesome shot.

Yes, the gecko in the banner is my little Cleo she stares at people with that same expression when she's hungry lol (which is whenever she's awake). Amy's the gecko on the home page.

Re: Opinions on my reptile site so far...

It's looking pretty good, ever thought of adding a preconceived notions part on there? kinda like with monitor's many people think that they can keep them on sand, reptile bark, or aspen shavings when they should be keep on a deep substrate of plain olé dirt, I've seen numerous videos on you tube of people with alligators that have absolutely no basking spot just a tank full of water where there just swimming all the time with no actual resting spot, there's a lot of misinformation out there as a recently discussed topic on here that has me changing the way I think about the whole beginner, intermediate, advanced species class where nothing can prepare you for an animal than actually doing your research on it and actually owning that animal. Just throwing a few ideas out there

That's a good idea, i'll have to research common areas of bad husbandry practices for that, that'll be an interesting topic to look into
