How do you measure a snake?

I've always done it with a string while there curled up, so stay relatively still like burms others like carpet pythons not so much lol, just have to catch them on the right day

lol thanks but yeah it was just a joke - hence why it's in the joke/comedy forum

This is what I use - IMO way easier and more accurate than measuring by hand:
