When you feed your BCI
How long do you like it to take your snakes "bump" to go away?

Re: When you feed your BCI
Yeah but if the bump is completely gone in just 24 hours should you up the size of the feedings?

Re: When you feed your BCI
Snake is about 30'' I just started giving him 3 small rat pups per feeding per week. His bump is still here after 24 hours. Usually I would give him one large mouse, and his bump would be gone in under 24 hours.

Re: When you feed your BCI
Instead of feeding him 3 rat pups why don't you try out small rats? It would be better for your snake.

Lol this is why you either have a lot of reptiles or don't order to much at one time, they grow fast when there young, when they start slowing down that's when you order bulk in stuff ![Big Grin](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif) , but I agree I'd try a small rat.

I know how this goes. My snakes have grown faster than expected now I have to feed 2-3 prey items for the next two months or so. Next time I'll order more effectively.

What's the benefit of feeding one large prey item over multiple smaller prey items? Are two (18g) rat fuzzys equivalent to one (36g) rat weanling?

Yeah, the only remedy is to acquire more juvenile snakes!
