That is one gorgeous snake! I will have to look into this species... I wasn't much for colubrids until I got my albino black rat snake - now I sort of want more!

Nice Mandarin, funny thing about these guys. These are the reason I'm so into the old world rats but I've never owned one. I wanted one for the longest time but when I look for a snake to get, I never think of these. Maybe one day...

And proving that my timing is terrible, she shed immediately after being returned to her viv after these shots. I'd thought she looked a little dull as I was taking pictures and thought maybe she was getting ready to go blue, hah! Guess I missed that stage this time around.
