BCI belly turning red

Hey, so I've got a female BCI almost a year old, but over the last week her belly has turned a light pink to a slight red. I'll post pictures when I get home, but does anyone have anything that comes to mind right away? I just want to see if she should be taken to the vet or if this is just a normal color change, not quite sure. I've had Ball Pythons and corn snakes for years, but this is my first Boa so I don't want to freak out if this is normal, but I also don't want to ignore it. I plan to find a local reptile vet for a check up, so I'm not assuming anyone here is a recourse to a vet, but some idea would calm my nerves. Her warm side is 92 and cool side is around 80, humidity fluctuates between 50-60% and up to 70 for shedding. I use Coco husk for bedding. Honestly it looks like she's turning the same kind of deep red/brown as the husk.

Re: BCI belly turning red

Is she coming up to a shed? All my snakes will slowly turn pink on the belly the closer they come to a shed.

Re: BCI belly turning red

She had a shed a few weeks back, it's possible, that she's going in to another, I just increased her food size, but it's darker than her normal pink before a shed, it also goes up to the white on her chin. She seems fine and acting normal, I just wanna make sure it's not something that'll be a problem.

Re: BCI belly turning red

First thing that comes to mind is a shed cycle. My BCIs belly turns pink during shed as well.......
