Shed or Scar?

I would like others inputs on what they think this is on my new baby BCI , it was on him when I purchased him and i kinda think its a scar but I have no idea what would cause a scar like this? the skin around the area is kinda flaky and rough like stuck shed but it looks like a healed scar? can this happen during birth? just curious on others inputs. I've tried soaking and its un effected.

p.s. it doesn't seem to bother him much just think its unusual to see a scar this large on a baby its about 3 inches in length

Re: Shed or Scar?

it sure does look like a scar.
maybe there was something sharp in his old enclosure, cracked glass bottom perhaps, broken edge of a ceramic bowl maybe.
Very weird though I agree
