Water monitor growth

Hi everyone, how many inches can I expect my baby water monitor to grow per month? Assuming all the conditions are right of course. His basking spot is 145-ish, he is fed crickets, and fuzzy mice 4-5 times a week until he can eat no more and he is in a cage that measures 5 feet long. So.. how much should I expect him to grow per month? Thanks for any replies.

Re: Water monitor growth

It really depends on the lizard really. I've had mine for 2-3 months now maybe, and he's grown maybe half a foot to a foot, it's a difference I can say that. Every reptile is different.

Hi, can you put a few photos up of the whole enclosure, and give details on the heat/light bulbs used?
They usually grow around 2 to 3+ inches per month for the first year or so if properly supported.
