The prodigal snake returns!

Finally, after being missing for over a week, I finally found my Ghost Hondo who had escaped from her cage. I have turned my man-cave upside down and looked everywhere else in the house I thought she might be hiding; all to no avail. I put out snake traps baited with mice and bowls of water just in case she happened across one and needed water. I looked for her several times every day and still no luck. As part of my effort to contain her, I had leaned a 3 foot long piece of 1x12 board in front of the heat vents to prevent her from going down into them. This afternoon, I was working away at my computer in my man-cave, when all of a sudden, there was a loud bang from across the room. When I went to investigate the noise, I saw her trying to sneak past the heat vent to get in behind a rack of plastic cabinets I have against the wall. She had tipped over the board and given herself away. She wasn't too happy about being recaptured, but she was absolutely none the worse for wear after her adventure. She is now in her feeding tub eating her second mouse. (It's been 26 days since she last ate.)

I want to thank all of you for your kind words and excellent suggestions. It is stressful to have one of your snakes missing. Not because they're loose in the house, but because you worry about them and what might happen to them. Anyway. I wanted to update my friends here on sSnakeSs and thank you again for your help.
