Re: My suprise acquisition
These guys are amazing!. These are my fav species I have ever kept.
These guys are pretty easy to tame down. Though you will take some bites. Mine were super calm and laid back.

Re: My suprise acquisition
I have found that my blood takes for ever to eat. She is so lazy she rarely strikes. I put the thawed rat in with her and she will inspect it for about 20-30 mins. Then she insists on eating it butt first.... I don't get her. Lol but she is a sweetheart. Has never showed any interest in striking me except the time she tried biting my face.... At that time I was treating her for mites and had my face fairly close to hers. She must have been agitated.
Nice looking Blood!!!

Thanks! I actually acquired it in hopes of getting it to eat, Going to offer it a hopper tomorrow before I give it to my brooks, If not we'll do live in about a week and then try to switch. Wish me luck!

Re: My suprise acquisition
They're on my list of "someday" snakes. Not sure if I could handle one yet.

My thoughts too. Got any pictures with something to compare the size of the snake (dollar bill, soda can)? What size/type of prey were the previous owners attempting to feed? Hoppers seem a tad small. I don't think I'd even bother with mice at all TBH.
I've read about people having issues feeding these guys, but I find that surprising since my girl's like a garbage disposal on steroids.
