Howdy...
Pretty new to herpin but, already have two friends. On a family trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, went to a reptile expo and fell in love. Esp. getting to meet and speak with breeders rather than an average pet shop scenario. Bought a year old Banana California King at the expo (July 2013) and had to get up to speed QUICK. Little guy was snappy and let you know what mistakes you were making! Months later and back in New York City we're doing awesome together, hes really settled down a bit and is pretty docile the majority of the time. Went to another expo this weekend in White Plains, NY and really wanted to stock up on frozen feeders and such and ended up finding a new friend as well. A baby Sonoran Gopher Snake...shes super mellow for now but, extra shy and stays in her hide. Just gotnher tonfeed on a thawed pinkie too! Guess I got a thing for Colubrids...fiesty ones at that!
