Seedling heat mat???
I watched a video on YouTube where this girl found awaaay cheaper alternative to the "typical" zoo med heat pads. She uses a seedling heat mat. Has anyone heard of this or tried it out?? I might try it for my future boa and the custom enclosure I will be building. I will post the link to the video.

Re: Seedling heat mat???
I would order 12 *12 inch thg heat tape and a cord/connector insulator set. 7 bucks plus shipping. Reptile Basics will even install the cord and insulators for free!

Actually, in speaking of thermostats and finding a cheap one, is their a certain one I need? Does it matter what kind I get?

Re: Seedling heat mat???
I have a couple of these and they are working well. The one pictured is a 1000 watt capacity. It has receptacles for up to three heat devices. Make sure all three devices are of the same size for equal heating. Otherwise they will heat with different temps.
There is also a 500 watt version available with only one receptacle. It's only a few dollars cheaper.
