Like others - new here and new to snakes, grateful that your here
Like others - new here and new to snakes, grateful that your here. We have a Chihuahua Kingsnake, a recent addition to our family. I tried putting the url in here but it won't allow me, but this is what the site says: Scientific Name: Lampropeltis pyromelana knoblochi Family: Colubridae Adult Size: Adults reach lengths of approximately 42 inches. Range: Northern Mexico in the Mojarachic region of Chihuahua. Habitat: Forests and mountainous rocky areas I found your site on by doing a google search and thought that of the ones I found this is the best one and the most caring. I care a great deal about ours. I will post in the feeding area, as I'm extremely concerned about the feeding.

Re: Like others - new here and new to snakes, grateful that your here
Thanks for the warm welcomes!
Here he is, we haven't named him yet.
The terrarium has a heater pad under just over half of it, then the cool zone, and the tubes you see are over the heating pad, as is the water dish, the tubes have warm water running through them. Its set at 70 degrees F. We thought to help keep the water warm in the dish, and he seems to really like hanging out over, under and through the water tubes.
He shed the second day we had him.

Reason: Spelling and to check the pictures were working.
