Re: Animals you would never feed

I'd feed anything. The animals we kill in slaughterhouses are considered sacred in some cultures. It comes down to personal bias.

I will feed anything appropriate or legal... I have no boundaries when it comes to this. Well possibly cats or dogs... I'd draw the line there.

^^^ +1 ..not to mention how much more cruel slaughterhouses are than feeding a snake..

I would feed any animal, I personally believe no animals life is more valueble than another, aside from humans but obv. thats quite different.. Also I would have different feelings toward cats and dogs, mainly dogs. Feeder duckings and chicks are the equivalent of rats and mice IMO, and so are snakes and lizards.

Nope....waste not want not. Plenty of my friends feed dead snakes to monitors or snakes to other snakes. All already dead obviously.

Pretty much this!

I would happily feed anything to anything else apart from my family (tho we eat all meats)

Cute or not....what's the difference? Seriously what's next? Maybe only ugly cows should become Big Macs? Having issues with prey items should always be considered when getting a 100% carnivore as a pet.

That would just be wrong. Millions would go into shock from big Macs actually containing beef.

Bwahahaha. Apparently Bolivia prefers actual beef too. McDonalds closed their stores there due to lack of business.

Re: Animals you would never feed

I would never feed a cat or dog. But there are a lot of humans that would be good feeders.

Re: Animals you would never feed

What about road kill? All those nice fat squirrels and possums you see by the road, many that look like it was a recent head wound with no other damage... For that matter, what about "popping" a couple of the bazillion squirrels that roam my yard everyday and tossing them in still fresh and warm? I would be afraid of introducing diseases or parasites, but what about some of you folks that have large snakes that must cost quite a bit to feed.
