tbh i dont breed snake its just what it looks like to me.. i know the female gets swollen when she goes into ovulation you should check for that it should be somewhere around the mid-bottom of her body that usually indicates they are ready to mate.

Re: Is this sperm?
It looks a lot like gastric mucus. My female Macklot which was off food for 1.5 year would leave me little surprises like that on a weekly basis. But for her it would have been with urates. My reptile vet advised me that it was normal for snakes that had not eaten for a while to produce such mucus. He also recommended to get the mucus analysed, as on some occasions it could mean internal parasites..but in that instance it is generally with bloody stools.. results came back negative so it was strictly caused by her very long fast as per Dr. Auger here in Ottawa.

Very interesting. With my girl she just ate 2 2XL rats two weeks ago and getting two maybe three tomorrow. She goes off of feeding every Nov till April or May. She done this since she was three years old. She now 11.5 years old. So i bulk her up a bit for her hunger strike. I am thinking it has something more to do with breeding, like ovulation. At least i am hoping. last year was her first time being put with a male. They went at it for 11 days straight. He been leave sperm plugs in his water the last couple weeks. So i am thinking after this feeding give them a week then put them together and hopefully get some babies these year.
