How long do you quarantine new snakes?

It looks like I will be getting another snake soon; this one unplanned. About 8 months ago, I gave my grandson a sub-adult Pueblan milk snake for his birthday. It seems that caring for a snake was not quite what he expected, so as agreed when I gave it to him, I will be getting the snake back to raise and care for. The snake was healthy and pest free when I gave it to him and was the only pet in the household. He’s kept it fed properly and the cage fairly clean and the snake appears to be perfectly healthy. That said, I still want to keep the snake in quarantine before I put it anywhere near my other snakes. My question is, given this situation, how long would you keep this snake separate from your other snakes?
Thanks in advance for your input and guidance.

Since it has been at your grandson's house and you know how it was taken care of and the health of the snake, I would say you really do not need to quarantine the snake. But that is just my opinion.

I tend to wait at least 3 weeks or a shed whichever is longer watch feeding and poop. Once all is well put him or her in where you plan on having them

With that situation i wouldnt quarantine. The snakes i havebought i quarantined at a friends place where there werre no other reptiles, when they come to my house they go straight into the room with the rest of the collection.
