Re: Colombian rainbow odd habit

Actually most of my snakes do this time to time. My cali kingsnake would do it every shed like clockwork, makes cleaning easy for me since I just have to discard the shed.

How young is your CRB and how long have you had it? Should calm down after a while when it no longer sees you as a threat.

I have only had him for 3 months and he is last years baby almost 30 inches or so. I think I am just going to give him to a breeder or find someone who wants to work with him he was rescued from an unknown situation where he was found in an apartment after the owner was arrested no idea how long he was there or his care at that point. The enclosure he is in is the one i built for a GTP or carpet so i would like to carry on with those plans.

My buddy use to have a pair. They tend to be a little more moody than BRB. He hook trained his which help big time with their moodiness.

The "bathroom" shed is fairly common. Count your easy cleanup blessings. ;-)

If he bites, handle him anyway. The moment they learn biting equals freedom, all is lost.
