how long should I
Wait to feed Bo? I feed him monday the biggest meal hes ever had. I know alot of u saw the picks. My question is I've been feeding him every monday should I continue same schedule with maybe smaller rat? Or should I wait a little longer because the snake had such a big meal? Keep in mind I handel him alot about an hour every 2 days. So I want to make sure hes not hungry when I handle him. Thanks in advance!!

Re: how long should I
Don't be afraid to handle your snake when he's hungry. I would keep him on the same size meal, and feed him every time he poops. Or you could feed every 7-14 days.

Re: how long should I
You don't want to wait until you see waste. If the snake is young and still growing keep the feedings roughly weekly 7-10 days, if its close to adault size then space them out a little more. My bci get a med rat every Sunday and she's growing like a weed.
Just realized this wasn't for bci, all my snakes get the same feed days every week, they are all young yet though.

So basically you're saying feed whenever.
What if the snake poops every 3 days? What about every 20 days on average? Are these healthy regimes?

after a big meal just keep an eye on how long it takes for the feeding bulge to disapear, most snakes will take a day or two to digest
with the exception of the big 5,who may take a little longer to digest a sheep or a goat, etc
cheers shaun
