all of a sudden picky eating

well 2 of my 5 snakes have become picky eaters. inka the male BCL and the countessera the female corn not that i am worried yet, give that a month or so. Is it some sort of season that i am missing or something. With inka i have tried med and large rats and brained them with the countess mice and small rats and nothing. just looking for some ideas both are normally very ready eaters and nothing husbandry wise has changed.

Re: all of a sudden picky eating

The male may be looking to breed. I know all my males, from my Sand Boas to my BRB will start getting picky, or even stop eating all together right around this time of the year. As for the female, the only times any of my females stopped eating was when they were going into shed, or they were gravid.
