Good perch ideas?

I want to convert a large Exo Terra for my GTP but I want the perches to be well thought out. Great looking, placed for best use of space and removable for ease of handling. I could use some ideas on either making my own or leads to good places to buy them.
Thanks for any replies!

Re: Good perch ideas?

I was going to recommend eye and hook screws but since you are using glass I would suggest using either closet rod holders or just using wood/branches that are shaped in a way so that you can create elevated perching areas.

For my Chondros I use rod holders...however I feel it takes away the "natural" look so I'll be using eye and hook screws pretty soon.

EDIT: Actually I forgot who it was but someone on this forum uses a ladder for their carpet python. Seems like a pretty good idea as well for a GTP, if placed diagonally to create different levels for thermoregulation.

honestly I use PVC and I love it. easy to clean and move around and its so secure. I also have my viv planted and it looks kinda cool to have the pipe amid the plants.

Re: Good perch ideas?

Plastic pipe doesn't look as nice but is very easy to clean. My suggestion is to make yours removable. Very easy to get a snake out when it's wrapped around a perch.
