Where can I order a good snake cage?
Where can I order a good cage for a jungle carpet python for a good price? I've been shopping around, and though I like to find a good price, I am also hesitant to trust websites when ordering online.

Animal plastics has some pretty nice stuff and customer service is great but it can be kinda pricey

If by good price you mean worth the money I would say these are:
- animal plastics
- PVC cages
- Pro Line
- boaphile
There are several more but I don't have experience or input from others to vouch for them.

Re: Where can I order a good snake cage?
pricing is not that different between the above, though i think animal plastics is the cheapest (or was a few months ago), but you will be paying through the nose for shipping. Also, some of them have a pretty long wait list, so place your order well before you will need the cage.
My recommendation would be to try and get to a really big expo, there are often vendors there who sell cages (you can email boaphile, AP, etc and see where they will be going for shows), and they you dont have to pay shipping and could potentially get a cage already assembled.

That's correct, most of them you will be waiting several weeks however PVC cages has the shortest turn around time. You will most likely get your cage within a week of ordering.
I ordered 7 cages from him and had them delivered within a week.

Re: Where can I order a good snake cage?
I probably won't be able to go to an expo outside of South Carolina anytime soon. I'll look at this upcoming expo, but if not I'll order. Thank you all for the answers!

What does it mean on the site by "Tube base"? And what watt heat panel would be good? Or are heat panels even necessary if you use a heat pad and light?
I apologize for the questions. I'm new to these kinds of cages.

Re: Where can I order a good snake cage?
On the Tube base i have no idea. On the watt heat panels check out this site at the bottom it tells you how to figure the size you need for different cage sizes.
Radiant Heat Panel FAQ: Reptile Products You Can Trust | Reptile Basics Inc
As for needing a heat panel you don't need them if your using a heat pad and thermostat.

Re: Where can I order a good snake cage?
In my 3x2x2's I use 40 watt RHPs and in my 2x2x18's I use 28 watt rhp's.
If I were housing a carpet in a 4x2x2 I'd go with a 40 watt since basking temps will be close to 90F.

Lowe's or Home Depot. Just note that all the parts are in different sections of the store and there is some assembly required.
