breeding boscs
Apparently they can be bred in sub par conditions on woodchips?
I found this breeding pair for sale on a Facebook page-
Neon Geckos Glasgow

I messaged them... I am willing to bet it's either a fraudulent listing, or just a pair of animals that simply either have intercourse or display dominance.
Until I see viable eggs hatching, they have bred nothing.
Usually these frauds run screaming when I call them out.
Recently a lass going by Liz H. on facebook tried listing a batch of imports as her own fruits of breeding labour.
Until I found her, she couldn't even give any specifications of temperatures, humidity or gestation length, when she started making up numbers, none were even close to correct.

Im curious as to what their reply Will be.
From speaking to various pet shops in Scotland ive been told there are quite a few breeders, which I have my doubts.
The shop I got mine from ordered him in for me and told me it was from a breeder but being me I didnt think at the time of asking for pictures etc before hand. Although when I first got him he had some sort of Brown marking on him which I assumed was to mark the one to be sold from the breeder.
By the looks of things those on that fb page certainly will not have the correct temps or humidity for a kick off.

People often confuse Captive Farmed with captive bred.
Captive farmed simply means that either gravid females or eggs are collected by animal trappers in Africa, the eggs are then hatched in a room so the babies can be shipped out.
It's easier to dig up nests and gather a pile of eggs than it is to breed them.

I contacted them, the female dropped eggs in the water dish!

some do drop eggs by accident, wouldn't call that breeding pair though, and as we know the female can drop eggs without mating!

They said that in the reply to me, that they wish they had listed them as a copulating couple. However since females ovulate and cycle anyway, eggs will drop, and if she's desperate enough to put them in the water dish, that says right there that everything is wrong with their setup.
