My female is just no comfortable..
My female coastal carpet ovulated about a week and a half ago .. maybe 2 weeks ago .. she was bred too twice before ovulation then continously for about 4 days after ovulation .. now the male will not go near her..
In the past day or so, she seems to be uncomfortable. trying to rest in the weirdest of possitions. LOL she seems a bit bigger in the lowe end and appears to have a bit of streched scales although i get the feeling i am simply assuming that cayse i really want her to have eggs lol My mind may be playing tricks on me!
Take care all
Dom

They shouldn't mate after ovulation, in fact males can be used as "gravidity meters" if ovulation was missed. Perhaps she is ovulating now?
How is she lying? If she is corkscrewing (on her side or back) then she has already ovulated and is creating follicles. If she is just moving a lot, that is fairly normal, and my IJ changes positions about 40 times a day. Gotta keep those eggies warm!

I have talk to many ppl who have bred tons and tons of snakes and many will breed even after ovulation .. they often don't but it does happen..
Who knows what is really going on though .. I am simply hoping for the best..
It seems promissing though
