Hello,
I was wondering if someone could answer a question for me? When shipping waxworms, they are always packed in a fine sawdust, from what wood does that sawdust come from?
Thanks, Kris. please e-mail, bakerboy77@shaw.ca
Don't know - but it annoys the heck out of me!!! I keep mine on baby cereal, honey, bee pollen, water and glycerin. It's a pain to have to pick them out of the sawdust.
If you can smell anything other than the worms you may be able to tell. In one wax worm cup i got it was cedar, but the rest were aspen. I think some suppliers just get bags of it from local shops.
