Siblings

These two siblings along with the other two boas I posted most recently are part of a special project for me. They are from a rare bloodline with a unique history of which few pure example still exist today. I am glad to have a group of these animals and hope to help keep this bloodline alive along with a couple other people.

Thanks! They are from the Stoltz bloodline, brought in originally by Brad Stoltz. The cool thing is that the founding animals were collected in an area in southeastern Suriname that is currently occupied by Suriname but is in dispute with neighboring French Guiana over who it belongs to since it is on French Guiana's side of the river that separates the two. They share certain characteristics with French Guiana bcc for obvious reasons which is neat because there very few examples if any of FG bcc in captivity due to that country having been closed for export even longer than Brazil. The breeders that were working with this line have all either gotten out of the hobby or have sold most of their animals from this line separately to different people so not many folks have a breeding pair of these animals much less a group of them. Here are a few pictures of some other ones.

The following photos are from the same bloodline but the photos and most animals belong to Barry Miller

Baddest bcc on the planet IMO

Re: Siblings

Wow, they are all so awesome! I really like the ones at the end of the first set of photos, and the very last one. They look tough!
