New guy from AR.
Hi Guys,
New here and to the world of reptiles. I'm originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, but have been in Arkansas for over 17 years.
I posted under the copperhead section, since I've several questions in that regard. Hope I'll learn a lot from you guys.
Thanks Jess

How'd you make that transition? lol Most people go to the popular cities like NY or LA.

Ha ha, yes I know, but was headhunted for a job building custom 1911 pistols. Love this state, and have no interest in bigger cities.
In many ways I like to think, America is not so much about NY or LA, but everything in between.

Sweet, sounds like a fun job. I've only ever been in the east coast, but would love to visit the country.

Welcome sir! Thankfully the forums offer a vast amount of knowledge so you should be able to find an answer for almost any question, or at least a good point in the right direction!

Re: New guy from AR.
Since I wrote my last post a little after 9, I have picked up 7 copperheads from my yard.

How are people not dieing left and right from all these venomous snakes? Even if you are being careful there have to be snakes that come out of nowhere.

Re: New guy from AR.
Got one more, just before bedtime. That's why I remove them from my yard. From studying various websites about copperheads, it's my understanding, that copperhead bites can be serious, but usually not deadly.
I wear snake boots and use a snake tool, when removing them from around the house. I put them in a bucket that has a lid with vent holes. Later they are released in a better place for them.
