yea its crazy how fast the snake settled in. I will emit that at first ,after it had a go at me i was a little ...... i was being a softy lol. I gave myself a little pep talk and said come on johnny you where the kid that used to ride around the neighborhood with a ball python wrapped around your neck lol. So i scope my hand underneath it and it started moving all around seems to me the snake is really smart and can see well and can move. I am happy with my decision to get this snake.

Congrats on the new arrival, Redog! He looks great! He should calm down fast with gentle, regular handling (starting *after* he has time to settle in and eat once or twice).

Let's hope not. It could be wood mites that arrived in the substrate. Either way, get a can of Provent-a-Mite just in case, and if it is mites, make sure to treat any nearby reptiles as well.

Seen that when i was a kid stuck with me every since. Ntwadumela aka the hyena killer supposedly was kill by a trophy hunter not sure if this is true or not could be made up. If you skip to 2:10 this is the part that i remember Ntwadumela, He Who Greets With Fire, He is the Hyena Killer - YouTube

Glad to hear it went well so far. Remember to re-treat in a few weeks, in order to catch the next wave.
