cutted eggs and got confused

We just cutted our kingsnake eggs since we are on day 57 and thought it was okay to cut now.
The mother is a sulfur lavender and the dad is a axanthic they are both brooks, but the babies are all black and white from what we could see, so I got confused.

This is my first kingsnake babies, so I dont know how the morphs work, do they all become normals or morphs.
Are the kingsnake different when they are babies?

I tried to find a website with info but I had no luck

You shouldn't cut eggs until some of the hatchlings start to pip. Not sure how the genetics on those morphs work, do you happen to know whether they are dominant recessive etc?

If Its early and the snake is under developed, it will be too early to tell what morph it is.

Snakes won't drown in their egg from something you do. More likely it was going to die anyway.

I don't know kingsnake morphs so I'm not sure what you're supposed to get. The mother could have been het axanthic as well somehow.

For eggs, I don't know their incubation period so double check your incubator temps to make sure they are still good. It sounds like you cut a bit early as colour is one of the last things to develop in babies.

Well, if they are black and white and they aren't axanthics then it means the full colours aren't there...

I guess you missed that part...

what I mean, the part you missed, is that I think they change from babies to adults, the colors can change alot.
