Getting to Know Venus, my new baby Burm
As some of you know I picked up a baby Burmese Python a couple of weeks back that I named Venus. She is an April 2013 hatchling that I have a feeling will grow into a very big girl. I have decided to post an ongoing thread for her to track her progress through the years.
She is an Albino Green Labyrinth and as such, has no pattern at all. Even her golden color fades to almost white on her sides and belly. As she matures, this golden color will become more of a bright yellow.
Her temperament is totally chill and this also surprises me since baby Burms are supposed to be a bit feistier than that, but I'll take it. She is also a great eater. Last Sunday, I fed her a Small rat and followed it up with a Weaner for seconds. Yeah this 3 month old has a very typical Burm appetite without the typical baby Burm demeanor.
Here's to the start of a very long relationship as she grows and gets to know me better.

She's absolutely gorgeous! A burm is definitely on my wish list.
