Ball Python is growin' up!
So I measured my Ball Python for the first time about 3-4 weeks ago. He was 198.447 grams. I measured him yesterday, and he was 255.146 grams! My baby is growin' up Also... I heard that 5-6 month old's are usually about 500 grams. If that's true, wouldn't that mean mine is about 2-4 months old?

It's not that common to have 1000 gram yearlings.
Takes a good growing snake, a proper feeding schedule and good prey.
My male breeder yearling potion is about 500 grams.

Be nice if my BP would keep a proper feeding schedule. I don't think he's gonna grow as big as I was hoping he would, ah well.

Is it in a tub? If so, what size in litres? If not, what size enclosure?

I do, too! He loves adult mice. Same with my corn snake. they have both been taking adult mice consistently for a few weeks now. Also, Yeti is starting to get more relaxed. He/She was very very defensive for a while. Only while he/she was in his/her cage, though. Hasn't ever struck at me, but I am surprised he/she hasn't. Anyways.. He/she doesn't get into an "S" form, or rattle it's tale anymore, so that's good! Everything's going great right now

I don't mind if you hijack this thread! I am also interested in what enclosure you're using

Re: Ball Python is growin' up!
And one more thing! Mine's in a 32 QT tub. For an adult, should I use something bigger? I was thinking 110 QT. The dimensions are like.. 50" x 20" x 6", or something similar. The other bigger tubs that I found are the same, but instead of 6" tall, they are 13" tall.

Nope...
I use 28 QT I believe.
Something like 24" deep, 16" wide, and 6" tall.

Re: Ball Python is growin' up!
I use under the bed boxes for both of my bps and haven't had any issues.

Either Sterilite 41qt tubs or Iris70's should handle even a large female breeding BP. You can find commercial racks designed for both if you don't want to make your own.
