Womas, Blackheads, and carpets

It has been about 5 months since I posted pics in a forum (besides last night) so I am doing a few species together. I have a bunch more photos from the last few months to share but they are on my other laptop that has a broken screen, need to download them off there soon. Anyway for now I have had a couple litter just hatch and some older snakes I have been sitting on for a while.

First up is a some fresh woma babies

These just shed and look all cute and cuddly

Like little balls of velvet until you get them mad and then it is on!

Too freaking adorable!

Next up is some yearling diamond/jungle 50/50 yearlings. Been sitting on these to see how they develop, I thought they would be very nice and I am really happy with them so far. The yellows are really starting to pop and the sides are getting very colorful just like the parents. The nicest of the litter is in shed right now but here is a sample of what I have

Cute close up

You can see the sides are really starting to pop here!

This one is stunning already but of course is in shed right now. The pattern is more toward the diamond side.

Re: Womas, Blackheads, and carpets

You can see the tail has far more yellow than the front, sometimes it comes out in the front third sometimes it doesn't.

Amazing what difference a year can make, the little one has not had it's first shed yet but they have the same parents

This one is smoking!

Food?

Finally some yearling blackheads, new babies should be hatching in about 2 weeks but these guys have not had many pics of them shared so I figured I should post a few. Hope this doesn't get too long.

Frequent problem I have with taking photos of these is the head disappears or the body is too bright so I apologize for both things

Couple top down shots that are too dark but what can you do

Re: Womas, Blackheads, and carpets

This male is gorgeous but of course in shed

This guy is not in shed and is staying here

This girl is a monster, non stop feeder! Even here she was looking for food.

Well there you go, hopefully that was not too long and hopefully I will get back in the swing of things and posting regularly.

Wow just amazing animals. Just one suggestion maybe use a lighter back ground for the BHP to make it easier to make out their heads. I will say i love how ink black their heads are. BTW the Womas are just to cute.

Re: Womas, Blackheads, and carpets

Thanks everyone! I really enjoy working with all these guys. It really makes it easier to be in there picking up poop when you are really into the animals so I try to keep my collection consisting of animals I personally like instead of what the market likes at the moment. I tried the other way and I am much happier now. haha

Thanks, I was actually just getting weights on them and photoing the scale and them to keep it straight and I figured i might as well get some glamour shots too. But yeah a lighter or natural background helps for sure but even then they are so jet black that the camera just does not like to focus on their heads. Most shot are with a deep depth of field to focus on the body near the head to get the head in focus too.
