Help Identify this snake please!?!
Hello,
Saw this snake swimming in a rather large river in Northern China. In a city called Harbin. The snake was grabbed by a man with a net and seemed non-aggressive. The snake was about about 3 to 4 feet long and about 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Just curious about what kind of snake it might be..Thanks!!!

Looks to be some sort of burmese python or green anaconda.
To be honest it would be easier to tell with a close up picture.

Re: Help Identify this snake please!?!
I'm stumped. The head looks Burm-ish, but the pattern is abberant. My initial thought was actually either a beauty snake or one of those Chinese garter snakes, until I saw the head.
Definitely not a green anaconda as those are from South America. Seems like the wrong habitat for a blood, and it looks nothing like one, too.
I'd definitely like to see a better quality pic.
