What is this? Is it safe?

Found it growing in big clumps on the ground, looked like desert shrubs (hard to tell since they arent clumped when I pull them out)

Anyone recognize it, no smell to it. Left it out in the sun, if its safe id like to use it in a terrarium.

Thanks

Re: What is this? Is it safe?

Looks like field horsetail (Equisetum arvense). I wouldn't put it in a beardie cage since it's high in silicates, but shouldn't pose any risks to snakes.

Should be as safe as any other stick.
