I will no longer start fights over personal matters.
Simple reason; none of you are worth the effort it requires of me.
I will however, stomp out misinformation being passed around. There are many newer members who will read it, not know any better and have no idea it's junk.
I'm not the villain, I'm a superhero!!!

U guys should see all of the dead mites at the bottom of his soak!! u guys just helped me solve my mite problems and i THANK YOU!!! any way is it safe for me to fog or mist his tub because he need high humidty so...idk what ill do lol so is it safe for me to mist.

On a different question would it be ok to tape up some of his air whole becasu he has some screen on top for a 40 watt crematc bulb so he can get better heat...but its letting WAY to much humidity out! if so what tape?

DO NOT REPEAT THE TREATMNT

provent a mite remains ACTIVE for 30 days.....

which is longer than the life cycle of snake mites

provent a mite kills the mitess, but does not kill the eggs

the second the mite hatches,it dies instantly

GIVE THE TREATTMENT TIME TO WORK

imo they will ALL be dead and your problem solved, after the treatment is complete

provent a mite has,ALWAYS worked,FIRST time.EVERY rime for me and everyone else i know who used it

cheers shaun

its self explanatory.....

bleach simply will NOT do the job,it does NOT kill mites or their eggs

provent a mite will, kill mites, although it does not kill eggs,it does how ever, kill the mites the minute they hatch from said egg

cheers shaun

Re: Mites!?!?!?

Omg bleach is a very poisonous substance that will kill the mites.
I am not trying to advocate using bleach to get rid of snake mites but only to get rid of the mites on cage furnishings. Geez
And please don't get me started on how an invertebrate like a reptile mite could withstand being drowned in a bleach/water solution witch is toxic to the mites.

Re: Mites!?!?!?

You're clearly outnumbered both in members and in logic.
Just let it go dude.
I have tried peeing on my mite infested snakes, it seems the uric acid in urine kills the mites on contact.
Run with that....

Fyi. Bleach will not kill maggots unless they drown in it. Regardless of what you drown something in it is the lack of oxygen that kills it and not necessarily the substance. So coconut milk will be just as effective as bleach.

I beg to differ. Not on the fact that you're a superhero though

I'm just overly sure our fight would be worth your effort, simply because I'll make up for my shortcomings in reading comprehension with hilarious banana gifs

Misting and fogging require water don't they? Why wouldn't it be safe?
