It will be much worse if you hesitate, which usually what ends up happening with most people when they are trying to be 'extremely careful' Hesitation will unerve an already frightened snake... they won't know what to make of the big scary human looming over them trying to pick them up. Just use common sense... don't open the bag up, look at the snake, then stick your hand in it's face or anything. Be quick, decisive, and observe proper handling technique

snakes are individuals, and all will react differently. my bull snake hates pillow cases, and even gives me a hard time when i put him in a rubber maid to feed.

No, damn it! lol. I didn't get to go to the show. Had to go out of town for the weekend and didn't get to attent the reptile show. Any idea when the next one is?
