And...well....so it goes...we tried. We really did....

I predict you and your cow hitting friend will hit 6 months, max.

Re: Breeding Collab!

So.. wait... i was born in 1998. Your username says "97". That puts you at one year older than me. You also look like it, from the link in your sig. There are also kids as admins on your page. So..

Also.... From looking at your threads, you also lack the knowledge to breed anything. I'd not do it if i were you.

Re: Breeding Collab!

Keeping snakes and starting a business where $ and obligations are involved are so completely different, you have no idea. Starting a business w a partner takes the complication factor up several notches. I've started 3...2 failed. I hope you come out on the "other side", but your age and hubris would indicate probably not. Oh well, no worries. Best of luck..

If you don't believe I'm old enough to successfully breed, I don't think you're old enough to give me advice on whether or not I should. I don't lack knowledge around breeding. Plus, I have someone with over 15 years of breeding experience working with me.

Re: Breeding Collab!

From my own personal experience, and I say this to help you Eric, keep a close eye on "partners"

My first ever business partner was a close friend, I still think of him often, I miss John terribly, and we have not even seen each other in 20 years, our business "accidentally" crossed an international copyright line, and we got wiped out by the government, we both lost EVERYTHING, the feds seized it all, and John blamed me for his losses, since I was the one who shipped a whole pallet of disks to Japan.

My second business partner was a total sociopath, he said and did whatever was necessary to get everything away from me and in two years time, he left me homeless, broke and moving back in with my mother while in my thirties with a wife and kid. His exterior charm had an underlying core of greed, I was nothing more to him than an instrument to get what he wanted.

From that moment forward I vowed never to take on another partner for the rest of my life.

Make sure all book keeping and money management takes place together, NEVER trust that he/she is just putting it all in the bank as they should, Hell I even had an employee who was a "close friend" embezzle over 10K before I caught him.

You cannot imagine the heartache of having a friend, the one who was at the hospital with me while my daughter was born, who took me out clubbing all over Orlando with him, I never knew of his intense cocaine habit, he was even stealing from customers to keep the coke flowing up his nose.

It's a big ugly world out there, and you better have balls of steel to deal with it.

I wish you the best of luck, I really do.. just be careful that someone does not milk you dry in the process.

Thank you very very much, Wayne. I will be as careful as possible, and do as others have recommended by protecting myself with a lawyer and a written agreement.

re more Boa's on Sunday
it's ALWAYS best to quarantine new snakes brought into a collection mate.....

you never know what issues they may have, until you monitor them for a good few months

cheers shaun

Re: Breeding Collab!

Alright, something is not right here. You say you are an adult , and are in colledge. In another thread and with copious evidence for your youth, you state that you are 16. I am 15.

So... Who are you to say that i'm not able to give advice to you?

Anyways.... Don't breed anything. Don't.

You know you can't ship burms across State lines correct? So you better have 40 -100 homes all set for each one of those baby burms!!1

I never once said I'm an adult (Quote it and link it if I did...). I'm 16, and in college. You have just as much experience as me. That's why I am completely disregarding your advice.
