Out here where I live, it's all glacier droppings, so there are some really big rocks down under the topsoil.

we did a fence with a hand auger, when that thing snagged a rock, it would throw people.

wich one?

we did the neighbours (he paid for the labour) that was about 3/4 acre.

My fence is a bit more elaborate, I used 1/2 telephone poles for posts and 3/8 inch galvanized steel cable.

You can hit my fence with a truck, and it would mess up your truck.

One time I used a logging chain for fencing and a kid ran into it witha 4 wheeler.

It destroyed the plastics on the front of the wheeler and bent the steering column.

wow that is quite the fence... why so strong?!?

mine would just be a cheap(er) fence... 116 ft of fencing, i just think 3200 is a little much....

wow, i just did some math.. the pieces of fence are $40 for a 8tall x 6 long... i would need 20 pieces for a 116ft yard (- a little for the gate) that comes out to $800 dollars x .065 for tax comes out to 856.. give or take a little bit since the gate... and posts i would need... that makes it out to like 2300 for Labor?!!!!?!?

wow even if i need to add a few hundred extra for posts i need, still atleast 1800 for labor?!

Redneck property line dispute.

My fence is bigger than your fence.

I got the poles for free from the electric company, I got the spool of tower guy wire for free from a scrap yard, he had to use a forklift to set the spool on the truck for me.

If I could score some highway ribbon rails, I would put them up.

Hell, I want to put up chain link fencing on both sides of my drive with electric gates, then when I see a pack of 4 wheelers heading down the drive from my window, I could push a button and lock them in until the police arrive.

Just yesterday some tool on a dirt bike drove right through my yard and left out my driveway.
