I didn't say ALL. And I also know that locks of hair, and personal items are used in other (good) ways as well, as well as blood and other bodily liquids are used in healing prayers, or good spells.

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I know not everyone believes it.

This is just the first time I've ever had it thrown in my face. Or just been out right laughed at, so of course I got overly defensive. I'll just try to skip over this thread until it's gone.

Don;t love spells, and spells to make someone successful also "require" personal things?

and as for blood, in the Old Testament God required blood sacrifices of the Jews. The blood of the animal was to be spilled on an alter....think about that some time

Just my 2 cents

*grins* However Jay (Kurzix) it again depends on the religions belief of what evil is. Even something like Wicca VS. Pagan, Wicca has a strict rule that manipulation is evil, anything manipulating another person is bad. Whereas Paganism is alot more liberal *grins*

But yes, you are very right

And sapphire_moon, I know what it's like. When I told my experiences and beliefs to the boyfriend that I just broke off with for the first time. He laughed in my face and said that I was an idiot.

actually spells for personal gain are not "supposed" to be good.

Some pagans believe that if you make someone do something against their will (as in a love spell) then it will come back to you 3 fold (or three times worse) and some believe it will come back 10 fold.

I personally have never really made an opinon on the whole sacrifice thing. It can be used in a bad way or a good way.

I also don't belive in the "Old Testament", So I don't belive in anything written in the "Old Testament".

Edit:

Every book I have read has said that "paganisim" is an umbrella term ecompassing all earth based worship.
Where both wicca, stregheria, witch craft, and whatever ones you can think of are all placed as "pagan"

True or not, that story simply by itself and the paraphenalia to go with it is eery. If he spent as much time as he did composing that story, kudos to him, scared my colon clean.
As fot the truth behind it, I consider myslef an intelligent person, and to slough off the idea that there are no such things as spirits, trapped souls, etc. would be plain old ignorant. Just because they cannot be seen, does not mean that they do not exist. I've never had an experience, but I'm open to it, mind you not open enough to have bid on the box...

Hehe and so as I said, again, all a matter of personal opinion. Some pagans believe in the threefold law, or to yank the one out of Wiccan practice, "An It Harm None, Do As Ye Will"

And then there are others, like myself, who believe that you make your own Karma. My personal rede would be "You don't harm me, I won't harm you" LOL

Um, this could very easily turn into a religious debate the way it is going, lets try and steer it away from that please, so it doesn't get removed.

What I'm wondering, is how many of these might have this guy sold. Sure, it might be the real deal, but he made 280 u.s off of this one, could be a brilliant way of selling old junk, I wish I'd have thought of it first.

If anyone wants an evil and posessed pair of second hand cross country skis, I've got some for sale.

ryan, just cause you didn't think of it doesn't mean you can't use it.

I've seen lots of haunted paintings and photos on ebay though usually I don't see much in the way of something this extreme in the way of bad luck often. Even rarer are items of good luck.

actually unless someone else brings other religions into it, any form of paganisim is not a "legally" recognized religion. So technicaly and legally it's not a religion.
Atleast here, it is becoming more accepted, but it's not recognized as a real religion

Sapphire, they are belief systems, whether they are 'legal' or not is moot. It is not the governments place to comment on religion, or vice versa, they have and should remain completely dichotomous.

BOOOOOOOO!!!!!! LOL....... I cant see why people are afraid of the dead......... Its the living you need to watch out for....... True paganism is a good religion....... What do you think American Indians, Egyptians. Incans, Aztecs and Celtics were???? Paganism is a real religion...... Infact all other religions are based on paganism......... It is the oldest religion in the world practiced by the most ancient people.......

So, this board has gone spiritual, .

Well.

I believe it. I don't know why people would pay to have that **** in their posetion. Unless you had a monitored house, That would be a good reality show.

Nevermind.
