I cannot seem to find ANY at all! I'm sure they grow here, I just cannot find any. Maybe I'll search for some tomorrow.

Beautiful uro. I can't wait to get mine. The more I read about them, the more convinced I become that every home NEEDS a Uro. Please keep those pictures coming!

What is his temperment like?

If you have garden space, you can buy pkgs. of dandelion seeds. They grow quite easily. The drawback is that they go everywhere, and you won't be popular with the neighbours. If you lived closer I would be happy to keep you supplied in dandelions, my yard is always full of them and we don't use any poisons so they are safe for creatures to eat.

His temperment is a little skiddish now that he is in his new cage.. but once he gets used to it, he will settle down. Some people's uros are as tame as beardies. What kind of Uromastyx are you getting?

I got 4 acres of woods so maybe I can get some seeds and throw them in my back woods. That wouldn't harm anything.. about how long does it take for them to grow?

Oh, here's a newer pic

I would really like to get Moroccans, but I am not having lots of luck finding them in Canada. The Mali also sounds great, and I have made contact with some breeders. In the end I may be happier with Malis anyway, as they are reported to be "less nippy." That said, I still have not abandoned my quest for Moroccans. You never know, maybe in time I will have both.

That last picture is beautiful. It shows the colour very well. Keep those pictures coming.

While walking to the desert area by my house (Where I go herping sometimes), I found a hole huge grove of dandelions! I picked about 7 and brang them home. My uro went INSANE for them! Right when I put them in, he went after them. It was like he knew what they were! I think I will be getting a lot of these from now on!

I don´t think they will find them in the wild, so the chances are small that they know them.
I think they react on the yellow color.
Probably there are yellow flowers in their habitat which are eaten by them.
My acanthinura see from a distance of 3-4 meters that I have some dandelions for them in my hand. Immediately they come to the window of the terrarium. And when I open it they jump at the flowers as if they haven´t had food for a week

Yeah, you can say that they love them.

By the way, they love daisy´s also. But I do not know if they grow in your surroundings.

Greetings from the Netherlands
